Our first MUTS ride.
After a weekend of camping, we took a ride with the Michigan United Tandem Society.

With an excellent turnout, we lined the street with vans and bikes. Always an impressive sight. |

Our route was the moderately hilly terrain along
the Grand River. A few hardcore types even took an extra hilly detour,
which was more than we needed with our load of three kids.

We had hoped to score some ice cream at the halfway
point in Ada.

We settled for a McDonald's instead

Back at the McNicholas home, we were all ready
for some good eating. Pat & Penny McNicholas were excellent
hosts.

The upcoming Midwest Tandem Rally was the topic of much conversation. |

The sprinkler was the highlight of the kids' adventure.
