Fourth of July
We celebrated Independence day the way it was meant to be celebrated, but without all the gun powder.

First off, the parade in Lake City. We arrived armed with bags for toting all the candy thrown from tractors and old cars. |

16 emergency vehicles with sirens blaring beats a marching band any day.. |
 |
|
I saw only one Republican, no Democrats, and this
Citizen of the Year. I didn;t even get to shake anyone's hand.

Sam enjoyed waving the flag though..

This of course was follwed by a massive family
reunion and hamburger and turkey fry.
Two grills, no waiting. |

After lunch we had watermelon, .

hairstyling,
|
 |
|
and a robust rouns of bocce on the lawn.. |
 |

The weekend was topped of with an impromptu play
by the grandkids on the trampoline.
