Dutch Root, family history research

I've been doing family tree research for well over a decade. I've done family trees for friends, just for fun. I've answered questions, found lost family branches, and even helped a friend find his birth father. I've also researched the family trees of the people who owned my house, The Parsonage Inn, and learned a lot about their lives in my home.

When I have free time, I love to do historical research, especially if someone has a need to know.

Thus, this is what Dutch Root is for.

Dutch Root is my consultancy for helping people do genealogical research and explore their family trees.

Each of us comes from somewhere, and everyone had parents. Everyone has a story, and our parents' stories are part of our story. Yet so often, stories get lost or forgotten. Knowing our stories not only informs who we become, it also becomes a legacy we can pass along to future generations.
There's at least four ways Dutch Root can help:

Family Tree Research
Who's in your family tree? Preserve the knowledge and memories of your lifetime. We'll help you pass along your legacy and honor the family that has gone on before.

Reunion Riches
Planning a family event? We can help share your family history and collect information about living relatives.

Adoption Research
Searching for your biological roots? If you have some details to start, we can help extend your research. We can also advise on some DNA testing options.

Historian Support
Researching a community with Dutch roots? We can extend your research by discovering documentation and details of the people who lived there.

Drop Dutch Root a note and let's see if we can help!
